Har Ghar Tiranga Certificate 2024 Download
As India approaches the 78th Independence Day, citizens across the country are gearing up to celebrate this significant occasion with immense pride. This year’s celebration will see the nation once again come together to hoist the national flag and participate in various cultural programs. In recent years, the Modi government introduced a unique way to honor this day—the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan.
Launched under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in 2022, the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan encourages every Indian to hoist the National Flag at their homes, fostering a sense of patriotism and national pride. This year, the campaign runs from August 9, 2024, to August 15, 2024, continuing the tradition.

Every Indian citizen is invited to participate in this campaign and earn a Har Ghar Tiranga Certificate. To obtain this certificate, participants need to take a pledge and upload a photo of themselves hoisting the national flag on the official Har Ghar Tiranga website.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on everyone to take part by capturing their moments with the flag, updating their profile pictures to the Indian tricolor, and contributing to the success of this campaign, as they have done in previous years.

When hoisting or displaying the National Flag as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2024, it’s important to adhere to the Flag Code of India, which outlines proper flag etiquette:
The National Flag must never be displayed upside down or in a damaged state.
No other flag should be placed above or alongside the National Flag, and no objects or garlands should be placed on or above the flagpole.
The flag must never come into contact with the ground, floor, or water.
The National Flag should not be used as a cover, decoration, or in any form of attire below the waist. It should not be printed on napkins, cushions, or other materials.
The flag should not be displayed in a way that could cause damage.
The National Flag should only be flown at half-mast on occasions declared by the Government of India.
The Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign is a commendable initiative by the Government of India to strengthen citizens’ connection to the national flag and deepen their understanding of its significance. To take part in this 78th Azadi Ka Mahotsav, bring the National Flag home, hoist it with pride, and honor the memory of those who fought for India’s independence.
